Vanny Boon

Instructor, 5th degree black belt, Saekson Muay Thai

Master Vanny Boon is a certified 5th degree black belt skilled in various forms of martial arts including Taekwondo Do, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu jitsu and Boxing. Master Boon’s passion and experience for martial arts began when he started training at the age of 5 and spans over 25 years. Master Boon trained under Grand Master Hong, Master Freddie Poole and Muay Thai world champion Saekson Janjira.

Randy Stem

Instructor, 5th degree black belt, fitness trainer

Randy Stem is a 5th degree black belt trained in Karate, Kickboxing, and Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Randy studied under the teachings of Allen Steen, widely recognized as the 'Father of American Taekwondo', and has over 45 years of experience mastering martial arts. Randy strongly encourages his students to build a firm foundation in martial arts early on by focusing on the development of basic fundamental motor skills and concepts.

Westin Poole

Instructor, 3rd degree black belt

Westin Poole’s love for karate kicked in as a kid when he began training in martial arts at the age of 6. By 2009, Westin was a certified 1st degree black belt and has no plans of slowing down. He has been teaching for almost eight years and enjoys working with children. The mission behind his teaching is inspiring his students to reach their goals and see the benefits of their hard work.

Alex Garcia

Instructor, 2nd degree black belt

Alex Garcia is a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do who gravitated towards the world of martial arts at the age of 4. Alex soon began training to develop and perfect his skills for martial arts and became a student at Freddie Poole's Martial Arts at the age of 10. Within 2 years, Alex’s dedication transformed him into an avid competitor. Alex received several 1st place wins in state martial arts championships.

Mike Rose

Instructor, Machado black belt

Mike Rose has over 25 years of martial arts training, competition, and teaching experience in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Mike started training in Judo in 1992 and currently holds a black belt. In 1998, under the teachings of Greg Nelson, Mike began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and received his blue belt in 1999 and his black belt in 2009.

Nathan Bagby

Instructor, 3rd degree black belt, Muay Thai

Nathanael “Nathan” Bagby is a 3rd degree black belt and an accomplished Muay Thai fighter and instructor. Nathan first became interested and started training in martial arts at the age of 8, and in the past 25 years, has trained in Isshinryu Karate, Eskrima, Tae Kwon Do, American Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Close Quarter Combat, Boxing, and Muay Thai.  Nathan has successfully competed in several amateur and professional kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts.

Johnny Rodriguez

Instructor, Machado black belt

Professor Johnny Rodriguez is a highly skilled black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 20 years of training in several martial art forms including Kenpo karate, Aikido, Judo and Muay Thai. Professor Rodriguez teaches workshops, self-defense seminars, and has previously worked in law enforcement.  Professor Rodriguez actively coaches students in preparation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments and MMA bouts and still competes in many Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments.

Gerardo Mulas

Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga

Gerardo Mulas is a certified personal trainer, yoga and martial arts expert whose mission is educating students the benefits of fitness, health and wellness goals. Gerardo specializes in sports performance, weight loss, injury rehabilitation, stress relief, nutritional counseling and meal planning. Gerardo has over two decades of professional and collegiate athletics under his belt, along with extensive training in kickboxing, boxing and grappling.
